The EYFS, explained
The Early Years Foundation Stage is the framework every nursery in England follows from birth to five. It covers seven areas of learning — from communication and physical development to maths, literacy and expressive arts. In practice it looks like play: we watch what your child is drawn to, plan around it, and record the progress they make along the way. You'll receive a progress check when your child turns two.
